These terms apply when you use the SHERYAN website, the self-assessment and the client portal. By using them or creating an account, you agree to these terms. Our privacy policy explains how we handle your information.

1. Who we are

This website is run by SHERYAN Documents Clearing Services (SHERYAN, “we”), Office 305, Zalfa Building, 2nd St, Al Garhoud, Dubai, UAE.

2. What SHERYAN does

  • We help individuals and businesses with licensing and other government applications in the UAE. We prepare, submit and follow up applications on your behalf.
  • SHERYAN is an independent service provider, not part of any authority. We do not issue licences, approvals or certificates.
  • Every final decision rests with the competent authority. We cannot guarantee an outcome or a timeline. Any timeline we give is an estimate.

3. The self-assessment

The self-assessment gives general guidance from your answers and fixed rules. It is not a decision by any authority and it is not legal advice. A consultant reviews your file, and the competent authority decides.

4. Your responsibilities

  • Give us information that is true, complete and up to date, and tell us when it changes.
  • Upload only genuine documents that you have the right to share. We may stop work on a case if we have reason to believe a document is not genuine.
  • Keep your account details secure and do not share your password. Tell us at once if you think someone else has used your account.

5. Fees and payment

  • Government fees are set and collected by the authorities and change from time to time. The amounts on this website are for information and are confirmed before any step is taken.
  • SHERYAN's service fee and what it covers are agreed with you in writing before work starts.
  • Your invoices are in your portal. Work on a service starts once its payment is confirmed; until then, your portal shows the service as waiting for payment.

6. Refunds

Government fees already paid to an authority cannot be refunded by SHERYAN. Any other refund follows the written agreement for that service.

7. Accounts and acceptable use

You need an account to take the self-assessment and to use the portal. Your portal opens once SHERYAN has reviewed your case and agreed to take it on.

You must not:

  • try to reach another person's information, or any part of the site you have not been given access to;
  • upload files that contain harmful code, or that you have no right to share;
  • interfere with the site, overload it, or collect its content with automated tools;
  • use the site for anything unlawful.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms.

8. Content on this website

The guides, fee tables and other information on this website are general information. They are not legal advice and may not show the latest change made by an authority. Ask us before you act on them.

The names and logos of authorities and clients belong to their owners and are shown only to identify them.

9. Limits of our responsibility

We provide our services with reasonable care and skill. As far as UAE law allows, SHERYAN is not responsible for:

  • decisions, delays or changes made by an authority;
  • losses caused by information or documents that were wrong or incomplete when you gave them to us;
  • the website being unavailable for a time;
  • indirect losses, such as lost income.

Nothing in these terms limits a responsibility that UAE law does not allow to be limited.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Dubai. The courts of Dubai decide any dispute about them.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows the last update. Where these terms and the written agreement for a service differ, the written agreement applies to that service.
